Zan’s Minimap Mod is also known as VoxelMap and this mod adds a realistic minimap into your Minecraft, like the ones from WoW or Guildwars. It is located on the top right corner of the screen. Once a new version of Minecraft comes out, this map will get updated quickly to make it compatible with every new minecraft versions.

This map will show you a map of your world with the coordinates. It is very useful because you can see the mobs, even if they are in underground caves. You are able to zoom in the Minimap just by pressing the “Z” letter, or you can press “X” to see the full version of the map. To open the Minimap Options you need to press “M”, from here you can make some adjustments on how you want to customize the mini map, change its shape in square or circle and also you can change the position of the mini map on your screen.

A great feature is that you can create a waypoint from the mini map menu, which this means you can save a location in minecraft and it will mark it on the map with a little glowing thing colored with your chosen color. This makes possible you to teleport back to a waypoint whenever you get way too far from it, or even when you get lost.
