The Grue Mod is a great mod that transforms the game in a terrifying one. Basically this mod was inspired from a very popular game from the 80s named Zork trilogy, in that particular game there was a mob named Grue that was silently killing you in a small dark room. So if you want to bring that mob into Minecraft you can just do it by installing this mod and after that that monster will hunt you everywhere in the Minecraft. But you might want to be careful because it can kill you with one hit or two even if you have the diamond armor, also you can’t attack it because it is immune to your attacks.

The Grue Mod mob will follow you until one of you will die. Basically you can’t kill him with your damage but there are some ways that allow you to kill it. The Grue monster will be spawned near the player, we can say that within the same chunk where the player is. It needs a low light level to be spawned, at 2 or less it won’t be spawned except to the darkest caves.

To kill the Grue you will need to elevate the light level around you to 3 or more and afterwards the Grue will explode into a cloud of smoke and then it disappears. When it dies you will not receive any drop. With this Mod installed you are not safe even in your house basement because there are corners too that are dark and it may be spawned. This mod is great to be used as an adventure map, because you will have a lot of fun and also you will feel the pain and suffer once you are killed by this monster.
