There are two different types of lights added by FloodLights Mod in Minecraft, the regular electric lights, and the carbon based lights. All of these lights can be powered really simple by using the RF, UE or EU and a coal based non-electric version included as well. After you place down even one light there will be light on a large area instantly if there is night. Also if you want to personalize the colors you can dye the lights by pressing right click on them with equipped dye and it will color, and at any time you can remove it with a wool if you don’t like that particular color anymore.
