The Component Equipment Mod was created by the spaceshase0, if you ever tried the Tinker’s Construct that also is created by the same developer you will find some familiar features in this current component equipment mod. Basically this mod allows you to wear any home components or pieces of furniture as an actual equipment.
So you may wear chests and ender chests as backpacks, for example, but this is not all this mod provides, but many other different things. In order to use any building materials as equipment you will have the opportunity to add some new customized enchantments to armors, weapons or even to some items.

Once you added the new enchantments with the Component Equipment Mod to your items they will became more powerful with some abilities that have never been expected before in the Minecraft. One great ability is the Ender Greed, that automatically pick-up anything is dropped down on a certain range nearby you. It may be an item or even the experience. If you want to increase the range, you must increase the enchant value, this is really useful when you kill horde of mobs.
This mod contains some different content from other mods. So you may expect to see some materials from Tinker’s Construct, one material and two enchants from the Thaumcraft, also something from Thermal Expansion and Forestry mod. So this imported content from different other mods got into this current mod which is a great mod that has some great features pulled together.
